This book mentions the conditions of labor in the Pre-Partition British India, as well as afterwards. In the Syllabus of Current Affairs, the first chapter is "Domestic Affairs". It is further divided into three topics i-e

(1) Political Issues

(2) Economic Issues

(3) Social Issues

I have found this book, covering the last two topics exclusively. Primarily it discusses the social issues but as both Economic and Social issues are inter-related therefore a comprehensive understanding can be made from the contents. Usually one or two question are asked from this part, which means securing 20 or 40 marks paper. It is a good read, i hope you would enjoy reading !
